The owl + the wordmark.

The owl carries wisdom and sovereignty. The two upper ear-tufts form an "MM" silhouette. The wordmark in Source Serif 4 600 lowercase carries the editorial weight. Together they form the canonical lockup. Used solo, used together, never separated by a container we don't approve of.

Source SVG (canonical), generated PNG and ICO (run bun run brand:build to regenerate), versioned PDF (Typst). All available in the downloads page.

Rules

  • Wordmark always lowercase. Never MIMAGIC or MiMagic as the wordmark itself. Title-case in running prose only.
  • Owl in currentColor. Inherits text colour. Never set the owl in Sovereign Lime. Lime is for line + signal, not the brand mark itself.
  • No container. Solo owl + wordmark only. Earlier explorations of circles, squares, and rings were rejected.
  • Single aria-label on the lockup. Don't double-announce ("MiMagic owl mark, mimagic Home").
  • Clear space equal to the height of the lowercase m.
